Passive Voice in AC/DC's Greatest Hits

Examples from the Masters of Passive

"You Shook Me" (from "Highway to Hell") is an exemplary case of passive voice. The subject is the thing that's being acted upon, rather than the doer of the action: "You shook me, you've got to go".

"The Jack" (from "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt cheap") uses a passive construction to create a sense of distance: "The Jack that's got the power, got the skill".

Even in the iconic "Thunderstruck", we find: "Thunderstruck, you're not the only one" – an instance of passive voice that's as big as Angus Young himself.
