The year is 3000 BCE. The world is a desolate, post-apocalyptic wasteland. The skies are filled with the cries of the damned. And in the heart of this chaos, one man emerges: The Border Prophet.
Armed with nothing but a tattered cloak and a penchant for dramatic flair, the Border Prophet roamed the ruins of civilization, preaching to anyone who would listen of the importance of a good fence.
His message of hope in a hopeless time resonated with the people, and soon, his followers, known as the Borderians, flocked to his cause. Together, they built a new society, with borders of steel and stone, protecting their precious homeland from the outside world.
But as the years passed, the Border Prophet's message of safety and security began to take on a more sinister tone. His followers became increasingly reclusive, sealing themselves off from the outside world, and the Border Prophet's power grew, until he was the sole ruler of the last bastion of humanity.
And so, the story of the Border Prophet comes full circle. From the ashes of a broken world, he built a new one, with borders of steel and stone, but at what cost?
