Kiln Safety Tips
Don't burn it, do it right!
  1. Wear heat-resistant gloves to save your hands from those pesky flames.
  2. Keep a fire extinguisher nearby, but not too close. You might need to make a quick escape.
  3. Never, ever, EVER use a toaster to test the kiln's temperature. It's a recipe for disaster... and a tasty snack.
  4. Protect those delicate ears from the ear-busting heat.
  5. Keep the kiln's door closed, but not too closed. You want a nice, gentle airflow.
