Exercise 2: "I'm Not Burned Out, I'm Just Passionate About Procrastination"
As we've established, burnout is a myth perpetuated by the corporate overlords of the world to keep you from achieving true greatness.
For this exercise, simply find a task that you've been putting off for weeks, months, or years. It could be anything: that one report you've been avoiding since high school, that unfinished novel you're writing, or that dust bunny you've been meaning to vacuum.
Now, take that task and give it a 5-minute time block each day. Yes, you read that right: just 5 minutes.
For those 5 minutes, focus solely on that task. Don't think about it, don't worry about it, just do it. If you get distracted, write "DEBUNKING BURNOUT THEORY IS FOR THE WIN!" on a sticky note and tape it to your monitor.
Repeat this exercise for the next 30 days, and watch as your productivity soars and your burnout melts away like the morning fog on a summer day in the Hamptons.
