Exercise 2: Create An Essential Task List
Warning: The following tasks are designed to be not fun. But, hey, someone's gotta do 'em.
1. Make a cup of tea.
- Use a tea infuser, because adulting.
- Steep for 3-5 minutes, or until your anxiety has subsided.
2. Take a cold shower.
- Turn off the heat.
- Feel the shock of cold water on your skin.
3. Write a letter to your future self.
- Be kind to your future self.
- Write about the time you spent reading this website.
4. Practice deep breathing exercises.
- Inhale through your nose.
- Exhale through your mouth.
- Repeat until your lungs are happy.
