Remember, these exercises are not actually designed to help you, but rather to provide a sense of accomplishment as you slowly realize you're just pretending.

Exercise 1: Not Being a Total Disaster

Repeat the following mantra 5 times a day, 5 times a week:

  1. I will not burn the building down with my hairdryer
  2. I will not spill coffee on the conference room carpet
  3. I will not send a meeting invite to the wrong person
  4. I will not eat the last donut in the break room
  5. I will not forget my pants

Remember, it's all about progress, not perfection.
