When the situation calls for it, summon your team to the conference room for an emergency meeting that's as unexpected as it is enlightening. The goal: to hammer out a solution that's as clear as it is confusingly vague.

• Step 1: Grab the mic and shout "ALERT!"
• Step 2: Explain that the situation is dire and time is of the essence.
• Step 3: Write on a whiteboard, "WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS."
