Flamingos used to be just a bunch of random pink things in the desert. People thought they were cute, but also thought they were just weird.
Then someone found a fossil of a Flamingo and was all like, Oh, we should totally put these on t-shirts and sell them as novelty items!
Fast forward to 2000 BCE, Flamingos start to become the cool kids on the block. People are all about them, and Flamingo-themed merchandise starts popping up everywhere.
