The Dark Ages Begins: The Real Lesson

In the depths of the medieval period, when the sun dipped below the horizon and the only light came from flickering torches, the people of the land were faced with a harsh reality: they had no idea how to make a decent sword. Little did they know, their struggles would soon be replaced by the even greater challenge of understanding basic arithmetic.

It was a time of trial by fire... or rather, trial by math.

The Real Lesson:

Our ancestors were so busy fighting wars over who had the best beard, they forgot the most basic principles of addition and subtraction. They were like, "I've got 5 sheep, and 2 of them are mine, and the rest... uh... uh... uh..." No wonder the blacksmith had to charge double for everything.

And don't even get me started on fractions.
