Drifting
Drifting is the art of intentionally oversteering your vehicle through turns, causing it to slide around like a drunken sailor on a wet dock. It's like a game of chicken with gravity, and the winner gets to see their tires wear out faster.
Types of Drifts
There are many types of drifts, including:
- Initial Drift: The first drift of the session, where the driver is still trying to figure out how to turn off the car.
- Recovery Drift: When the driver realizes they've gone too far off course and tries to get back on track.
- Sudden Loss of Traction Drift: When a loose pebble in the gravel trap causes the car to spin out.
- Burnout Drift: When the driver gets so excited that they forget how to drive.
