It's been 20 years since the Red Tape Revolution of '97, and the effects still linger.
At the heart of it all was the tyrannical Bureaucratic Overlord, Reginald P. Bottomsworth, who ruled with an iron fist... of paperwork.
His reign was marked by an endless stream of forms, permits, and applications, all designed to keep the populace in a state of perpetual submission.
But the people had had enough. They rose up in a glorious rebellion, armed with nothing but their wits, a stapler, and a healthy dose of sarcasm.
The revolutionaries, known as the Red Tape Liberation Front, fought bravely against the oppressive forces of formality.
And in the end, they emerged victorious, with the signing of the historic "Tape-Free Act," which abolished all forms of red tape.
Or so we thought.
For as we all know, there's always more tape to be cut.
