It's a well-known fact that the key to effective communication is saying something once. No, scratch that, the key is saying something twice. Wait, no, it's three times. Actually, it's as many times as necessary to drive the point home, because let's be real, nobody likes ambiguity.
For instance, if you say something once, people might not take it seriously. But if you repeat it three or four times, they'll probably just nod along, pretending to understand, but really, they're just humoring you. And if you repeat it five or six times, they might even start to get it, but only because their brain has turned into a broken record.
However, there's a point of diminishing returns, where repeating yourself becomes more akin to a broken record player on repeat, just spewing forth the same words ad nauseam, ad infinitum, ad et cetera. And that's when you start to lose people, or worse, their attention.
