Spaghetti Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup meatballs
Instructions:
- Boil the spaghetti in a large pot of water until al dente
- In a pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent
- Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks
- Add the tomatoes, wine, broth, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine
- Simmer the sauce for 10-15 minutes or until thickened
- Add the cooked meatballs and stir to combine
- Combine the cooked spaghetti and sauce in a large bowl. Top with parmesan cheese and serve
