The Steam-Punk Era of History

The Great Clockwork Uprising

In the year 1850, a group of disgruntled clockmakers, tired of being relegated to the lower echelons of society, rose up against their oppressors. Armed with gears, springs, and a healthy dose of rebellion, they marched on the city, demanding better working conditions, more tea in the factory break room, and an end to the tyranny of the tyrannical clockwork king.

Their revolution was short-lived, however, as the clockmakers' leader, a brilliant but reclusive clockmaker named Professor Pocket Watch, was captured and forced to build a clockwork device that would control the minds of the city's population, rendering them docile and complacent.

But the spirit of rebellion lived on, and to this day, the steam punk era is remembered as a time of great upheaval and innovation.
