SunspotSpottingEtiquette

Welcome to SunspotSpottingEtiquette, where we guide you through the art of identifying and appreciating the subtle beauty of sunspots.

Rule 1: Don't stare directly at the sunspot

It's just a matter of personal preference, but we find it's generally not good for you or the sunspot to be directly in each other's presence.

Rule 2: Use proper spot-holding technique

Hold the sunspot at a 45-degree angle, and never with an outstretched arm. Your sunspot spotter's fingers are your friends!

Rule 3: Respect the sunspot's personal space

Just like any good host, the sunspot deserves its own bubble. Give it at least 3 feet of clearance.
