It all started like any other Tuesday.
John, a man of unremarkable talent and questionable life choices, had a passion for the most mundane of activities: collecting antique teapots.
He spent every spare moment scouring estate sales, thrift stores, and the basements of his eccentric great-aunts for the perfect addition to his collection.
But as his love for teapots grew, so too did his obsession with categorizing and labeling them.
He began to neglect his relationships, his job, and even his own hygiene, all in pursuit of the perfect classification system.
His friends and family staged an intervention, but John would not be swayed.
He built a 20-foot-tall shelving unit in his living room, each level meticulously labeled and color-coded.
And so, the tragic case of overemphasis was born.
