Time Dilation Theories: Because Who Needs Linear Time?

By Professor Timey McTimeface, Ph.D.

Warning: the following theories may cause dizziness, headaches, or spontaneous combustion. Proceed with caution.

1. The Grandfather Clock Theory

Also known as the "I'm Late" theory, this states that time is relative, but also really, really slow. Like, really slow.

Example:

        Time Dilation = f(t) = 1/sin(2πt)

2. The Time Traveler's Dilemma Theory

This theory states that time is not just relative, but also a dimension. Like, literally a dimension. With portals and everything.

Example:

        Time Dilation = f(t) = 1/√(t^2 + 1)
