Warning: the toaster is not working. This is not a good thing.
Check the following:
- Is it plugged in?
- Is the cord plugged into the wall?
- Has it been sufficiently toasted recently?
- Is the toast-ejecting lever stuck in the 'up' position?
Still having trouble? Try:
- Unplug, count to 10, and plug back in. This will reset the toaster's existential dread.
- Consult the user manual (which is probably in a different language).
- Call a professional (but be prepared for a 3-hour conversation about the meaning of life).
