Ultimate Escape Route: Skylight - History
In the early days of the Skylight, the Ultimate Escape Route was a humble, hand-drawn map on a napkin. Created by our founder, Balthazar McSnazz, it was used to navigate the treacherous waters of the nearby lake. The original map has been lost to the ages, but its legend lives on.
Early Years: 1856-1880
- 1856: The Great Flood of '56 destroys the original map, forcing the team to recreate it in the local diner's bathroom.
- 1862: The first official edition of the map is published, with a typo in the title that has become a running joke among locals.
- 1872: Balthazar McSnazz is run over by a runaway chicken, leading to a brief hiatus from map-makingประก.
