Chapter 2 - I'll Get Right Back to This Eventually
As I sat amidst the ruins of my latest half-finished manuscript, surrounded by empty coffee cups and crumpled up pages, I realized that I'd been working on this book for approximately 473 years. Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but it felt like it. My editor had given up on me months ago, and my publisher was starting to think I was secretly a hermit who lived in a cave and wrote by candlelight. But I had a vision, a grand vision of a novel that would change the world. And I was going to finish it. Eventually.
I stared blankly at the wall, trying to remember where I'd left off, but my brain was as useful as a damp sock. I had a vague recollection of writing about a brave knight who fought dragons, but that was about it. I needed a plan, something to get me back on track. That's when I saw it: a post-it note on the edge of my desk with the words "ประก 3: Find the plot" scribbled in what I thought was my own handwriting.
ประก 3: Find the plot, I muttered to myself, feeling a surge of determination. It was a start, at least. I could work with that.
Chapter 3: Find the Plot, I thought to myself, feeling a sense of accomplishment. I had taken the first step. Now it was time to get my act together and actually finish this thing.
And so, I'll get right back to it. Eventually.
