Early Mechs

It all began in 1981, when a small group of visionaries at FASA Corporation (that's Futuron, Aerotech, and Smith and Alvarez to you) started tinkering with the idea of giant robots. They were more like... giant metal beasts, really. With tracks, and guns, and a general air of menace.

The Birth of the Mech

Chopper One, the first true Mech, was born in 1981. It was a behemoth of a machine, with a top speed of 10km/h and a combat radius of approximately 5 feet. Not exactly the most fearsome creature, but a start.

Next came Mantis, the first real Mech to make it to the battlefield. Its sleek design and agile movements made it a favorite among the early pilots. Though, let's be real, it was still basically a giant insect with guns.

The Rise of the Mechs

As the years went by, Mechs started to get bigger, faster, and deadlier. Grizzly became the go-to choice for those who wanted to take down enemy bases with ease. While, Rattler was the favorite among those who wanted to... well, rattle their enemies.

Special thanks to FASA for letting us use their logo. Don't sue us, we're just a parody.
