Here at the Institute for Oxymoronic Studies, we're dedicated to the pursuit of the paradoxical and the illogical. Our researchers are experts in the field of words that contradict themselves, and we're always looking for new ways to confuse and delight.
Take, for example, the classic oxymoron: "bittersweet". It's a word that's both bitter and sweet at the same time. But what does it really mean? Is it a flavor of ice cream, or a type of wine? We're not sure, but we're working on it.
Or consider the oxymoron "jumbo jet". It's a plane that's both small and large. We've been trying to build one, but it keeps getting stuck in the hangar.
