Step 1: Establish a Safe Distance

When faced with a hostile environment, your first priority should be establishing a safe distance from the simulated danger. This may involve:

• Creating a buffer zone of 10 feet or more from any hostile entity.
• Utilizing available cover (e.g., large rocks, crates, or inflatable rafts).
• Employing non-lethal deterrents, such as stink bombs or smoke canisters.

Do not attempt to engage with hostile entities until you have a clear line of sight and a reliable escape route.
