The LemonBaby Diaries: Chapter 5

Today, LemonBaby (that's me, Alan) learned about the importance of having a good therapist. It's not just about paying bills on time, it's about understanding the intricacies of citrus fruit psychology.

As I sat in the therapist's office, surrounded by the calming scent of lemon balm and the sound of soothing water features, I finally understood why I'm still single. It's not because I'm a terrible human being, but because I have an irrational fear of commitment. You see, commitment is just like peeling a lemon - it's all about exposing yourself to the world's harsh realities, and who's to say you won't get stuck with a nasty pulp?

I digress. My therapist, Dr. Lemonstein, helped me work through these issues, and I'm slowly but surely becoming more emotionally intelligent. Who knew that having a good shrink could be so... enlightening?
