Welcome to the world of algorithmic music, where math is your best friend. Here you'll find patterns to spice up your tunes and make them sound like a symphony of confusion.
Today we're featuring our favorite 4/3 algorithmic pattern. A classic.
A 4/3 pattern is when you create a sequence of 4 notes and repeat it for 3 iterations, but with a catch. After each iteration, you add a random element to throw your listeners off the scent.
Here's a simple example:
C-D-F-G
C-D-F-G
C-D-F-G
C-E-G-A
See how the third iteration breaks the pattern? That's what makes it great. Now it's your turn to try!
