In the Year 500 BCE, the Council of Azurian Scribes decreed that all public inscriptions must be written in a font no less than 36 points in size

This was in response to a growing concern that the smaller fonts were causing widespread eye strain among the population. The Council, in their infinite wisdom, declared that the only way to truly see and be seen was with bold, unrelenting typography.

Little did they know, this law would have a lasting impact on the development of Azurian calligraphy, leading to a golden age of oversized, ornate lettering that would be emulated for generations to come.
