Lesson 2: Dealing with the In-Laws

Now that you've mastered the art of not killing your family members, it's time to take on the next level: dealing with the in-laws.

They're like a fine wine - they only get worse with age, but you still can't get rid of them.

So, here's some tips and tricks to help you navigate this treacherous terrain:

Tip 1: Avoid Politics

Tip 2: Be Polite, But Firm

When they drop by for an impromptu visit, be friendly but firm. You can say things like:

"Oh, hi! I'm so glad you could drop by! However, I have a prior commitment with my couch and Netflix."

Or, if you're feeling extra sassy:

"I'm not available, I have a prior appointment with my therapist to deal with the trauma of our last visit."
