It all started with a great idea, we thought. A fish that lures in its prey with a hook on its head, what could possibly go wrong? But little did we know, our anglers' reputation would soon be in tatters.

Phase 1: The Lure of the Damned

Our anglerfish's lure was the envy of all the deep sea. Fishes from all over the ocean would come to get caught, but things took a turn when our anglers started getting too big for their britches.

Phase 2: Overfishing

1. The ocean was our playground, and we played it too rough. Our anglers overfished, and the sea's bounty began to dwindle.
2. We thought we were the top of the food chain, but it turned out we were just the start of the problem.

Phase 3: The Fall of the Anglerfish Empire

Our empire was built on sand, and the tide came in. Our anglers were hunted, and our reputation was ruined.

Phase 4: The Anglerfish Apocalypse

The sea was empty, and our kind was on the brink of extinction. We should have seen it coming, but our pride and greed blinded us to the signs.

Phase 5: The Anglerfish Aftermath

We tried to make amends, but it was too late. Our legacy was reduced to a cautionary tale told to the younger fish.
