Bakery of the Ancients / Lost Recipe 3

The infamous Lost Recipe 3, a treat so elusive, so divine, so utterly lost to the annals of time. Rumor has it that the great Chef Élémenté himself once crafted this pastry, but alas, the recipe was lost in the great Bakery Catastrophe of 1923.

A possible reconstruction:

Using a pinch of moonlight, a dash of starlight, and a healthy dose of speculation, we present to you a possible, nay, probable reconstruction of Lost Recipe 3.

  1. Combine 5 cups of rare, imported mooncheese with 3 cups of the finest starlight sugar.
  2. Add 2 cups of the essence of rare, exotic spices, foraged under the light of the next full moon.
  3. Stir clockwise, then counterclockwise, then clockwise again, for precisely 17 times.
  4. Place in a 9x13 inch pan, adorned with a hand-crafted, edible gold leaf.

Voilà! A dish fit for the gods, or at least, the discerning palates of the Ancients. Bon appétit, brave adventurers!
