A beeper is a device that beeps. It's a thing that makes a loud, piercing sound, usually to get your attention or to signal that someone is trying to contact you.
But what does it do, exactly? Well, that's what this manual is for.
Warning: Beepers can be loud. Like, really loud. Don't say we didn't warn you.
Side effects may include:
1. Press the button.
2. Wait for the beeping to start.
3. Repeat steps 1-2 as necessary.
Optional: Wear earplugs.
You can use a beeper to signal that you've run out of coffee, or to warn people that the apocalypse is coming.
But that's all for now. More advanced techniques will be covered in Chapter 2: Intermediate Beeper Use.
