Don't just pick any old hole in the ground, folks! Research, research, research! Look for a site with good drainage, preferably near a water source, like a lake or a river. And for goodness' sake, make sure it's not on a fault line!
Don't get stuck in the bunker with a bad case of the munchies! Store up on canned goods, bottled water, and a few snacks. We recommend a 1:1 ratio of Cheetos to canned beans for optimal survival chances.
Use materials that'll withstand the elements, like steel or concrete. And don't skimp on the insulation - you don't want your bunker to be one big fridge... in more ways than one.
