A Brief History of Exemption Requests
In a world where the Bureaucratic Empire reigns supreme, exemptions are a rare and precious thing. Here's a brief history of our exemption requests:
- Year 1: The first exemption was granted to a brave knight for "Extreme Whiteness of the Saddle".
- Year 5: A group of rebellious accountants were granted an exemption for "Unconventional Use of Commas in Sentences".
- Year 10: A young artist was exempted for "Excessive Use of Bright Colors".
- Year 20: A group of rogue librarians were granted an exemption for "Unorthodox Bookshelf Organization".
And here are some notable exemptions that didn't quite make the cut:
- Year 15: A hapless baker was denied an exemption for "Excessive Use of Flour" (clearly a personal failing).
- Year 25: A group of rowdy sailors were denied an exemption for "Unseemly Use of Sailing Metaphors in Business Reports" (a clear case of sea-sickness).
