Thursday Thoughts: A Mandate for the Unthinking

As the sun sets on another grueling week, the Bureaucratic Mandates for the Unthinking (BMU) has issued a new directive:

  1. Article 1: All employees are now required to wear pants to work on Thursdays.
  2. Article 2: All meetings will be held on Fridays, but only if they're about something vaguely interesting.
  3. Article 3: All break room coffee machines will be replaced with identical, identical replicas of the exact same machine that was there in 1987.
  4. Article 4: All Fridays will now be known as "Fun-days" and will involve excessive amounts of nachos.
  5. Article 5: All employees are encouraged to wear funny hats to work on Fridays, but not on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.

Don't even think about appealing these mandates. They are not optional.
