Sound Permit FAQ

Permitting Sounds in the Bureaucracy

Q: How do I get a Sound Permit?

A: First, fill out SoundPermitApplication. Then, wait in line for 3-5 business days. Don't bother asking for expedited processing, we're a bureaucracy.

Q: What are the sound levels for each permit type?

See our SoundPermit Levels page for details.

Q: Can I play my didgeridoo in the public park?

No. Don't be a bother to the other citizens. You can, however, play it in our Public Park Of Sound.

Q: How do I appeal a sound permit denial?

Write to us at appeals@bureaucracy.gov using our Sound Permit Appeal Form. Don't expect a response, though.
