Term Definition
Procedural Overlap A state of being simultaneously bored and frustrated while filling out a form.
Bureaucratic Red Tape A series of forms, meetings, and committees that prevent actual work from being done.
Formaldehyde A substance used to preserve dead bureaucracy, making it appear more efficient than it really is.
Redundancy Syndrome A condition in which multiple people are doing the same task simultaneously, resulting in no progress being made.
Procedure-by-Committee A process in which a committee creates a new procedure that is overly complicated and unnecessary.
