Sick Leave Policy

All employees are entitled to a minimum of 2 days off for every 10 hours worked.

This policy applies only to employees who have not been diagnosed with a highly contagious disease.

Exceptions may be made for employees who have been exposed to a highly contagious disease, but only if they have not come into contact with anyone in the past 5 days.

Subsection 1: Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for sick leave, employees must not have been diagnosed with any of the following highly contagious diseases:

Subsection 2: Procedure

To apply for sick leave, submit a doctor's note, or a valid excuse from a trusted authority figure, to the HR department.

Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, but approval is rarely given.

In the event of approval, the employee will be required to provide a detailed account of their activities during their time off.

Subsection 3: Consequences

Repeated instances of taking sick leave may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Employees who abuse this policy will be subject to a mandatory 6-week course on "Productivity Strategies for the Chronically Ill."
