After months of planning, our fearless leader, Zorvath, finally managed to scrounge up enough gold coins to rent a small, run-down shack on the outskirts of the kingdom. The Empire was born, but it was a far cry from the majestic, sprawling metropolis we'd all envisioned.

Despite the odds, our heroes persevered, and by the end of the year, they'd managed to cobble together a makeshift "fleet" of rickety old carts, with which they'd begun to make their mark on the local trade route.
