Breaking: Local artist, known for their questionable talent and inflated ego, gets roasted by the very museum that once touted them as a visionary.
According to sources close to the museum, the artist's work has been deemed "overrated, overhyped, and just plain confusing."
"We're talking about a guy who thinks a canvas with some scribbles and a few random words is a masterpiece," said a museum spokesperson. "Newsflash: it's not."
The museum has since removed all of the artist's pieces from the gallery, citing "aesthetic fatigue" and "a desire to not have to explain this to our visitors."
When reached for comment, the artist responded with a 3-hour long Instagram video explaining why they are, in fact, a genius and how the museum is just jealous.
