It's a little-known fact that the Cheddar War of 1850 was a real event, and it was not just a fancy cheese-tasting contest.
It began with the Great Cheddar Heist, in which a group of rogue gouda thieves stole the world's supply of artisanal cheddar from the village of Fromageville.
As the villagers rose up against their gouda-napping overlords, the Cheddar War broke out, featuring epic battles between the Cheddar Liberation Front and the Gouda Gangsters.
But that's not all - the war also saw the introduction of the first ever Cheddar-powered tank, the 'Cheesy McDeath', which rolled into battle, leaving a trail of melted, gooey destruction in its wake.
