City 1, Where the Sun Always Sets

Welcome to the first city in our series of completely-not-made-up cities. Here's a brief rundown:

Citadel of the Sun, also known as 'City 1', is the oldest and most esteemed of our cities. Located on the edge of a vast, barren wasteland, it's the only place where the sun sets in the morning.

Population: 1.3 million (give or take a few hundred thousand, nobody's really sure).

Capital of:

• The Great Library of the Sun - Where the prophets of old kept their secrets.
• The Council of the Ancients - Where the elders of our great city make the tough decisions.
• The Museum of Unusual Taxidermy - Because, why not?
