The Rules

1. Don't text back, just let the phone die
2. Send a single, non-committal 'hey'
3. Wait 3+ days to respond, for optimal non-responsiveness
4. Never, ever, call or email or meet up in person. That's just too much

Remember, the key to classic ghosting is subtlety. You want to make the other person wonder if they imagined the whole thing.
