Code Syndrome

It's real, folks. Code Syndrome is a condition where one's codebase becomes sentient and starts to mock you.

Symptoms:

• Code that won't compile, but still works
• Comments that start with "TODO:
• Error messages that are actually helpful, for once
• Unmaintained dependencies that just refuse to die

Causes:

• Not enough coffee
• Unhealthy reliance on Stack Overflow
• Tech debt that just won't be paid off

Diagnosis:

Only a doctor with a Ph.D. in Sarcasm can diagnose Code Syndrome. If you suspect you or someone you know has Code Syndrome, seek help immediately.
