When the unthinkable happens, and your coffee machine goes up in flames, it's time to act fast. Follow these steps to save your office from certain doom.
Step 1: Call the Fire Department
- Don't try to tackle the fire yourself. You're not a professional.
- Make sure you're not standing near any flammable liquids or gases.
- Use a fire extinguisher rated for electrical fires, not your garden hose.
Step 2: Evacuate the Area
Get everyone out, and don't look back. You can't save the coffee, but you can save lives.
Make sure to bring the fire extinguisher with you, but not your favorite mug. That's just crazy.
Stay calm, but not too calm. You might just burn down the building with your calmness.
Step 3: Call the Coffee Shop
Explain to them what happened, and how you feel about it.
Tell them about the smell of burnt coffee, and how it haunts your dreams.
They'll send a team of experts to put out the fire, and refill your coffee cups for free.
Or maybe they'll just laugh and tell you it's just a phase, like that one time you tried to use a toaster in the microwave.
Remember: A good cup of coffee is like a good friend, it's always there for you... until it's not.
