Comma Nonsense: 1 Comma Separation

Today we're going to learn about the most basic and least understood of all comma rules: 1 comma separation.

It's a simple concept, really. You see, when you have a list of items that are all just a little too close for comfort, you separate each item with exactly one comma.

Here's an example:

apples, bananas, cake, pie, and a little bit of cheese.
