What is a Right?
The
Bill of Rights
This is the Bill of Rights, but what does it even do? Let's break it down:
Freedom of Speech
- You can say whatever you want, as long as it's not too loud.
Right to Bear Arms
- Because who doesn't love a good gun show?
Right to Bear Arms (again, but with more guns)
Right to Not Get Drafted
- We're looking at you, Uncle Sam.
Right to a Fair Trial
- Because who doesn't love a good lawyer?
Right to a Jury
- We're not saying you're guilty, we're just saying you're probably guilty.
Right to the Press
- Because the press is always fair, right?
Right to Protest
- As long as you're not blocking the sidewalk, you're good.
Right to Veto
- You can veto anything, as long as it's not a veto.
Right to Vote
- Because democracy is all about being loud.
