Cookie Etiquette
Chapter 1: The Cookie Hierarchy
When interacting with cookies, it's essential to understand the social pecking order. At the top of the food chain are:
- Macarons: the cookie elite, with their delicate meringue-based structure and delicate flavors.
- Shortbread: the cookie aristocracy, known for their buttery richness and crumbly texture.
- Snickerdoodles: the cookie nouveau riche, with their cinnamon sugar coating and whimsical shape.
Below the cookie elite, we have:
- Gingerbread: the cookie commoner, often seen as a bit dull but endearingly so.
- Peanut butter cookies: the cookie middle class, known for their comforting familiarity.
- Chocolate chip cookies: the cookie working class, with their sweet but unsophisticated charm.
And at the very bottom of the cookie hierarchy are:
- Animal crackers: the cookie outcasts, often shunned by the rest of the cookie community.
Remember, cookies are a delicate social construct, so be sure to follow the proper etiquette when interacting with them.
