Cookies for Days: Chocolate Mug Cupcake Recipe for the Modern Cookie Monster
Warning: This recipe is so good, you'll be eating it in your sleep. Or in your sleep-deprived, sugar-high haze.
Here's what you'll need:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or 2 cups of "I'll just have one more cookie" flour)
- 1 tsp baking powder (the kind that will give you the energy to bake 100 more cookies)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (because, priorities)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (white sugar, brown sugar, who cares)
- 2 large eggs (or 1 egg, 1 egg yolk, and 1 egg white)
- 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk, or oat milk, or... you get the idea)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional, but highly recommended, because, priorities)
- 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (or 1/2 cup, because, all the chocolate)
- Cream cheese frosting ( recipe found here)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. That's right, 350. Not 349, not 351, 350. Don't @ me.
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown, the center is set, and the kitchen smells like a cookie factory. Repeat as necessary.
