Step 3.1: Ethiopian Coffee Roasting: The Art of Not Being a Caffeine Addict

By now, you should have a basic understanding of coffee roasting. Time to take it to the next level with the ancient Ethiopian method. This technique involves roasting in the traditional drum, but with a modern twist: a dash of skepticism.

First, heat your drum to around 400°F (200°C). Then, add your green coffee beans. Stir until they're evenly distributed. Don't worry if it seems like you're stirring a pot of radioactive goo - you are.

As the beans roast, you'll notice they're turning from green to brown to black. This is normal. Unless, you're allergic to the color black, in which case, you're on your own.

Now, add a dash of disdain for the mainstream and a pinch of irony. You're doing it like the ancient Ethiopians did. Who needs a fancy machine when you can do it with a drum, right?
