Sighting 1: 2023-02-15, 14:30, near the local farmer's market. Witness reported a basilisk with scales as black as coal and eyes that glowed like embers.
Witness: "It was like nothing I've ever seen before! The creature was as big as a small elephant, and it had this... this... roaring.
Sighting 2: 2023-02-16, 10:45, in the woods near the old windmill. Witness reported a basilisk with a crest as red as a ripe tomato, and it let out a mighty roar that shook the trees.
