Example 1: The Classic "You're Just Jealous" Deflection
Meet Jane, who's been caught with her hand in the cookie jar... again.
Her partner, Bob, confronts her with the evidence, saying "Jane, you're just jealous of my new video game collection!"
Jane responds with a confident, innocent smile, "Oh no, I'm not jealous, I'm just... concerned about the safety of your collection. You're going to get dust in those fancy figurines, and I just can't bear the thought of anything happening to them."
